Haven't been to this park in years. Very nice area. They have ball fields and soccer fields for everyone to enjoy. A nice walkway for walking or bike riding along the river. While out, I spotted a large eagles nest with two being spotted. I heard a little one was also in the nest. Pretty cool to see in the city. Plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the water. Some people sitting and enjoying a little picnic time.

I went down this park frequently as a child, since I grew up right down the street from one of the entrances from it. I still go as much as I possibly can, and take my family. Great for long walks, picnics, fishing, bike riding. Occasional benches are a nice place to take a rest. Perfect for enjoying nature. The only thing it's really missing are more bathrooms. The few it has are often locked. When unlocked, there's no "upkeep", so they are dirty and usually don't have toilet paper or soap (when the sinks work at all). And working water fountains are even more few and far between. Bring your own water.

Nice city park for a long walk; just ignore the reminders of the city.  Once in a while, you can actually get a glimpse of woodland life and a taste of the forrest.  The creek itself can be very picturesque.

Great place for a jog! Short trail due to the neighboring police academy gun range Big football, soccer and baseball field. Great water front and picnic area.

Stay close to your party and enjoy the park! It's been special since I was a little girl. It's a PHILLY " find"!  A little bit of the wild in your own backyard.
   Go with a grown up! Stay Safe 🤗
