If I could give this location 0 stars, I would. I scheduled a 9am appointment for a Saturday two days in advanced for an Oil Change and State Inspection. The man that checked me in 1. Couldn’t find the appointment, 2. Found a profile of someone I stated was not me due to the make and model of the car and the phone number and he proceeded to use that profile and questioned me like I was wrong when I told him that wasn’t my number, 3. The man then started to complain about his 2 late employees and the online appointment system to me, 4. Then my 9am appointment for Saturday turned into me never getting my car back and NOT getting a call that my car would not be done and would be kept over night., 5. I call the next day to get an update because I didn’t get a call the day before and the response I got from the same man who checked me in was “A lot of cars didn’t get done yesterday and I have a line in front of me. I’ll call you back in a few hours and let you know what’s, whats.” This is the worse experience I have ever had at a Pep Boys or any other shop I’ve been to and I will NEVER give this location again.

Two weeks ago I took my car to PepBoys to get a state inspection. They recommended that I get new tires because I had a nail in one and new wiper blades in order to pass the inspection. I did all that was necessary to pass the inspection and spent over $500. During the week after the inspection I started to notice a weird noise in my engine and a change in the way my car drives, so I called to schedule an appointment to have my engine looked at. The guy on the phone told made the appointment and told me he understood that I had just had it in and they would look at it no problem. However, when I took my car in at the time I had scheduled they said they had no record of any appointment. There was no apology, I was just an annoyance. All the employees were talking among themselves but no one really wanted to address me. They said they could take my car that day if I left it but then told me it would be $105 charge to take a look at my engine. I told them I had just been there recently but they did not budge. I left and will be taking my car elsewhere. This says to me they do not stand by their word or by their work. I have been using PepBoys for all my car service needs for a few years now, but my husband and I will not be returning.

Bought tires online at the store's site and had them shipped to store for installation. Tires arrived when they should, price of tires reasonable, installation reasonable. Experience went down hill a little for me when my 9 am appointment turned into a 2 1/2hr. wait to have 2 tires installed/balanced etc. Asked a few questions after the job related to another mechanical issue. As I left, heard wise guy quip of 'Jesus' from one of two attendants. After a five year hiatus from this store for a similar incident - that guy told me not only did PepBoys recommend new tires installed on rear but he would not install them at all for me on front. Went to another store in the chain and had them done. I probably won't return to this store again after this latest. I was the last to walk out of this store of five people after setting up a Nine o clock, two days prior. What time was their appointments? Service must be transparent and professional. I felt this was neither!

I came to this location to have my vehicle inspected. Day 1, I came 5:30pm the service manager stated the person that inspect vehicles isn't there and to come back between the hours of 7am and 2pm. Day 2, I came 1:00pm and the service rep. said it was a 5 hour wait and I can schedule an appt. to come in the morning. Why wasn't this option presented yesterday by the service manager is beyond me but I took the appt. for 8am the next day. Day 3, I bring the vehicle in and the service rep. is asking for my registration and insurance card. I have my registration but not my insurance card. The service rep. stated they can not inspect the vehicle without it. This is information I should have been informed of this when making this appt. I was able to send a electronic copy of my insurance card to have my vehicle inspected. In my opinion, this is just bad customer service. In additon the facility is a mess. Apart of the store is taped off, there are wires hanging from the ceiling. It's summer and they had 1 fan running that was blowing on the service rep. behind the counter leaving the customers that are waiting hot and uncomfortable. I DO NOT RECOMMENDED THIS LOCATION AND I WILL NOT DO SERVICE HERE AGAIN.

I bought my car in for a new front brakes. One of the guys at the desk was not cordial at all. My first reaction was to turn around but I stayed anyway. After their initial inspection I was told I needed a alignment because my tires were wearing badly. However, I had my car inspected by my dealer one week earlier and was told that my tires were wearing nicely. I declined their suggested service. After 2 hours my car was finally ready. The brakes started squeaking one day later! I made an appointment to have them check it out. I wanted to up the appointment because the brakes sound horrible. They were not accommodating. This is the last time I will go to Pep Boys. I rather pay dealer prices.
