Hidden away in a failing strip mall is this gem of a restaurant. Not only is the service friendly and the food fresh and delicious, this unpretentious restaurant has real chefs. That, of course, means that if you don't see what you want on the menu, ask them. They can probably make it for you. Make sure to chat with Joe, the owner, as he mingles with the guests. He is quite an interesting guy. One of my favorite restaurants in Maryland.

Very nice Italian restaurant. Good prices. The rest of the shopping center is closed, but Pepino's is staying open.

Fresh Italian restaurant,  great bread, wonderful entrées, fantastic and friendly family staff. A Burtonsville classic!

My husband found this jewel.  The sauce is homemade and Joes  grandmother's  recipe.   Nothing canned ever.  We get the eggplant parmesan and it is fabulous.   We always get takeout, but love the  cozy vintage simple Italian kitchen atmosphere  and the friendly family staff!  Do yourself a favor and eat there.  Simple, unpretentious,  delicious!
