The service was very slow. Due to the fact there was only 1 server and had to deal with the late night people and drunks. Food came out cold. I could put my finger on the food and didn't even get burned or feel any heat. The server was great. Running around trying her best to take care of everyone. Which was very hard for her to do. Could easily see she was overwhelmed.

Read several reviews before coming. Saw some really good ones and a couple of bad ones. Figured it looked good enough to try. Came in around 7pm, very few customers at this time. My table of 3 places our orders. 10 minutes later the waiter tells us they were out of ingredients for 2 of our plates. It went downhill from there. Saw our wait staff very little, waited on drinks, the food looked like Walmart Banquet dinners and didn’t deliver the pie that was ordered for desert. We could hear all the kids joking and having a great social in the kitchen but nobody to wait on the 2 tables in the restaurant. Came back today for breakfast, thinking the morning might be better. I walked in behind a large group, they got their place on the list and walked off. Then the hostess asks the lady behind me how many for her table and completely disregards me standing there... that was cue for me to just walk out. Worst food and service in Hastings. I do not recommend.

Service and staff was wonderful! Wifi ???? Craaapy! Food was hot fresh and delicious! Pie is better than grandma's! (Don't tell grandma that though..... heeheee....

Half a chicken salad & chicken noodle soup. Sandwich was abismal...1/2 toasted hogie bun...one long lettuce leaf...turned over with half of chicken salad not even on the bun & leaf... barely enough to cover half the sandwich...soup never came...after long wait was told it would be there soon...again it never came, so I caught waitress and canceled.They ended up giving me the half sandwich and offering me a piece of pie, which I declined since I am dieting. Other meals were on time. Appears management is lacks as our waitress was training new waiter at busiest part of day. Not a great idea. Left 10% tip for over worked waitress. Recommend Customer Service training for all owners and managers. Staff, too, but they need it less than Senior & Junior Management. Having been a Corporate training manager and Customer Service Consultant I would be happy to provide...for a fee...of course.

Quality food. Good coffee. Spotty service and gets slammed after church so plan ahead.
