One of my favorite diners. Their food is alright but it's a great environment to just socialize with friend or family. This is a very casual place. I go pretty late in the evenings so food service is a bit slow. They use to have more options to choose from. Now probably 80% of their menu is breakfast food. I usually order the all you can eat pancakes and appetizer sampler for about $12. It's 2 of their great deals that you can get past 9 pm. The service is great too. Theirs usually just one waitress working the night shift so she talks really fast and in a rush to get to the next table but she's really nice. Somehow she still manages to check on us every ounce in a while to fill drinks and take plates. Good for her. Should really put more people on the night shift though because apparently, she was supposed to be off at 9 and she was still helping my table at 1 in the morning.

Everyone knows what Perkins is like! Either you like their type of food or you don't. I don't mind the food and can usually find something appealing to me since the menu is large and varied. Our server this time, Dani, too excellent care of us and catered to our 2 kids making sure they were taken care of.

Usually not too bad. 
Today, one of us got a tuna sandwich, looked like yesterday's left overs. The French toast was rubbery, the eggs looked like it was the extra run off from making eggs and the bacon was flavorless.
BEST PART... opened the napkin with the silverware, must have been on someone else's table. Nice big snot inside!

Every time I go to Perkin's I wonder why I decided to give them another chance. We go maybe once every two or three years, usually because someone were with suggests it, and I'm always disappointed. 

I haven't gotten good service here in years. I've experienced rude waiters as well as managers who side with the waiters instead of the customer. I'm not big on complaining, but when I've had issues here it was never handled well.
