Luke Perry and Perry Contracting managed the construction and installation of an elevator into The Stained Glass Theater in Newport, KY.  This building is on the National Register of Historic Places.  They did an excellent job from all aspects - quality work, took great care to respect the integrity of this fine old building, completed on time and on budget, excellent communication.  They recognized our standing as a volunteer-based, non-profit organization and did all they could to control costs, act as an advocate for us with suppliers to ensure they were giving us best value and even absorbed some costs that could legitimately have been passed on to us.  In addition Luke as an individual was a pleasure to work with - conscientious, friendly and knowledgeable.  I would welcome the chance to involve Perry Contracting in another project.

Perry Contracting was the winning bidder on a recent school renovation my firm designed and they did a wonderful job. Jim, Luke and the team are extremely organized, conscientious, pro-active, adaptable and dependable. They put our client at ease and made the job flow. I recommend them without reservation for any commercial construction project you have.

We had Perry contracting gut and redo about 9000 square feet of office space.  They did a great job, kept the project on time and on budget.  any potential changes were clearly explained with the costs and benefits.  we'll definitely use them again.

We recently hired Perry Contracting to complete a major construction project to remodel over 8,000 square feet of office and meeting space.  The construction lasted about four months and we were very pleased not only with the final product, but also with how smoothly the process flowed.  The crew was very professional and friendly and focused not only on the big picture but the small, equally important details as well.  They made it a point to keep the common areas clean, which may sound insignificant to some but to us was a very critical detail since we had office staff, parishioners and guests continually using the areas surrounding the construction.

Communication was clear and frequent and we were kept apprised of the project status.  Any issues were immediately brought to our attention and Jim and the field superintendent were always available to answer our questions, working with us to determine the best solution with our needs in mind rather than what best suited them.  Flexibility was a key component of the project, since without much notice we had to delay construction because of a funeral or other church function, but Jim and his crew were understanding and adapted well to the schedule changes.

As is typical in most construction projects, variances from the original plan did occur, though infrequently.  Jim and his crew responded by handling the modifications with patience and professionalism and it was evident they were more concerned with our satisfaction rather than any inconvenience it may have caused them.  Throughout the remodel, not only the company owner but the field superintendent as well remain engaged with the project and approached it with a spirit of cooperation.

This clearly wasn’t just a contractor doing another job - they were completing a project with us, not for us.  We would not hesitate to recommend Perry Contracting to others.
