This is, hands down, the best pet store in the area. I've always had the friendliest service, and the best advice. Their animals are so amazingly well kept and the staff is great (esp with kids). I've never had a problem. The ferrets and rats... You'll never find a shop with animals more comfortable and friendly with a human touch. Their prices are the best too, so that helps.

We got to ball pythons from here for a good price but not even a day after having them they stopped eating. We went back to ask why and what we could do and they said they are probably just having issues ajusting. Turn around and a week later they were dead. Went back to the store and they told us tough luck. Worst service ever for a pet store. Also my family bred bird and i can tell you that there birds are highly stressed out and they cant even tell the dang sex of them. Simple knowledge if your are going to sell birds. They will lie to you about the sex of all there animals, please becareful and I advise seeing a real breeder if you want pets not these people. They are full of crap.

PCW is fine for buying dog food and such, but should be limited to that. I am disappointed in PCW for convincing me to buy an anemone that was completely wrong for my tank. I provided the employee with the age, water parameters, and content of my tank along with my personal experience (or lack there of). The anemone was wrong for me on multiple accounts and should never have been suggested. As such, I am out $80 and lost the anemone in under 2 weeks. It is partially my fault for believing the employee without doing independent research. I do not recommend Pet Care Warehouse.

I went into this store to setup my first reef tank and explained this to them. And as anyone knows with reef tanks that has experience, you should wait a certain time before adding certain fish and corals and certain things cant live with certain corals, etc... When i asked for advice and suggestions they talked me into buying all kinds of stuff that #1 would not survive in a new tank even though it was cycled, and #2 was not compatible with each other. I spent over $700 with them over a period of a month and everything was killing everything else in the tank, everything was dying off, they sold me a fish with Ich on it straight from the store but i didnt notice it til i got home, and i took it back the next morning and they only wanted to give me a portion of my money back for store credit, then they didnt even treat it for its sickness and then sold it to someone else.. Either they know nothing about reef tanks and fish, or they knowingly sold me stuff that would kill each other just to take advantage of my lack of knowledge.. They sold me "live rock" that was covered in red carpet algae whick is very hard to get rid of!!! why would someone do that?? no other fish store would left the algae and live rock in their tanks,a they told me to sit it in the sun to bake whick killed it, now i have dead rock that wont grow anything,,,. I didnt know better at the time or I wouldnt have shopped there. I will say their prices on fish and corals are pretty good but that does no good if they are not healty.. The tanks are always really dirty and covered with algae. The customer service is good most of the time but sometimes certain employees will ignore you. I would recomend buying anything but the fish and reef stuff here. And it seems by the managers responses on here to these post that they have some kind of chip on their shulders... this was your choice of a business to run, no one is making you do it, if you dont enjoy it and you cant handle the customer service aspect of it, go get another job. its that simple.. Why would you emply that just because an employee didnt follow your policy of greeting customers that the "visit" never happened? maybe you have one or two crappy employees and they arent being supervised all the time so they take short cuts... any manager might realize that instead of calling a customer a liar just because they didnt like their comments. Sadly you have good prices but i ahve to stop shopping their becasue you make your customers pay for YOUR money issues. just shameful. The reef community is a small one and i have personally turned 9 people away from using you guys just because of your horrible attitudes towards satisfying the customer, something you have control of yet you assume your right all the time. without customers you have nothing, you should remember that. shame on Petcare Warehouse

Great staff, very helpful people an always friendly. I've been going there on a regular basis for over a year and all of their products I've bought as well as the few pets I've bought have been high quality. The only place around that I've found that stocks a wide variety of frozen snake food.
