Small store.  Nice selection of dog and cat food.  Great stop in for basic needs.  They didn't have much specialty items.  I was really looking for something for my dog's birthday.

New York has always been massively overpriced in the pet goods category (I actually buy toys for my dogs when I go on trips because they're literally 70% cheaper). Pet Central doesn't do much for NYers in that category. Food is expensive here, toys are exorbitantly overpriced, and collars and, well, just about everything else are definitely in the way-too-pricey category. HOWEVER, the stores I've been to have great people working there (Manny on Madison Ave...keep up the good work) and they are always nice to deal with. I wish I could buy everything here for that reason, but I usually limit my purchases at Pet Central, because I like to be able to feed MYSELF too.
