This place has the best and most courteous staff they are a real asset to the community.  They are very knowledgeable and have a wide selection of pet supplies, fish and small critters!  We just took on two dwarf hamsters and the staff has been a great help.  They have a fantastic supply of toys, habitats and supplies to keep everyone happy.

BUYER BEWARE: Store’s merchandise may HARM or KILL YOUR PET!!!!!!!!

Last week I dropped into Petland’s Discounts to purchase a vacation feeder for my fish tank. I told the clerk my tank specifications, number of fish etc. She recommended three different products. I told her this was my first time using a vacation feeder and specifically asked for the “best” product (I love my fish!). She picked out a “Pure Balance Vacation Feeder”. I followed the directions for this product and left on vacation. When I returned home two of my beloved fish were dead (and covered in white substance). On Amazon this product has 3/5 stars, and was given 1 star by 45% of reviewers who report similar problems. For the life of me I can’t understand why the clerk would not warn me that this (overpriced) piece of garbage might kill my fish. SAVE YOUR MONEY. SAVE YOUR FISH. SHOP ON AMAZON.
