For years I shopped almost exclusively at Pet Supermarket until they no longer carried my (dog's) preferred dog food. Today it was more convenient to stop there than at the larger pet store (I'm sure you know to which one I'm referring). I'd forgotten how well stocked this smaller store is, with excellent, more personalized customer service to boot.   This store is no exception.  In the future, I'll drive several miles out of the way to avoid shopping at a store where most employees seem robotic, forgetting that they're interacting with people that keep them employed.

I like this place because they have a better selection of cat stuff compared to other pet stores which seem to focus more on dog stuff (don't take that the wrong way, dog owners. I like dogs, but cats need toys too, ya know). It's hard to find toys that keep my 2 cats intertained for more than a few minutes but I found something here that they love! I highly recommend it. The feather is attached to a pole that spins around the floor and they chase it, hit it, even tackle it.  See pic.

Decent options for pet foods. Not as good as say the whole dog market by piedmont park but not as commercialized as petsmart

It's a cute pet store. On site parking is a welcome feature for this in-town location.
