I think they have great prices for dog toys, but dog food and other items not so much.

This was my first time and last time at this particular groomers I was trying someone new because Petsmart couldnt take my dogs until later in the day. I called and the associate told me that she could get me in at 11, it was 10:15 so that worked out perfectly for me. I got there and dropped off both of my dogs (both of which have been to the groomers before). I came back to pick them after I called them to see if they were ready, after almost 2 hours has passed. My first dog was ready she came out and I asked if she had given them any problems because she is bigger and a bit more timid about dryers and loud noises, they said she was a good girl and she had given them no problem at all. When my other dog came out her nails had not been clipped or grinder yet so I told her I will go pay for it while they finish up, my wife stayed behind in the grooming office while they did so, and my dog seemed scared which isn't like her, she 28 lbs. and fears nothing. She was shaking and barking a bit and my wife stepped out and told me to wait because she can't get her calm and it may be that we are here and she wants to go. I ignored that because thats not like Cinnamon to not be chill about her nails being done, prior groomers never ever have a problem with her with any of the services she has done. I go into the groomers and there are two women , one holding her and the other "calming her down", but while doing so she is more or less hitting her in the head. Then tells me that calms dogs, but I'm watching my baby flinch at it, I ask her to stop please. The woman who is cutting her nails is grabbing at her back paws and I tell her to be careful because she had surgery on her back left paw, she has a plate and 7 screws in it, and I don't want her to hurt her. So eventually while clipping my dog yelps and I thought it was just because she was over it all and just wanted to go home. They never grinded her nails down because she would not sit still long enough. They refunded my money and I went about my business, I simply took her to Petsmart for the grinding because now its really all they can fit me in for and they were in between appointments. I took her to Petsmart in tinley park and the groomer had no problem with calming her and grinding her nails, and before anyone says it no my dog did not know this woman, she's never groomed her before. But she told me that one nail couldn't be done because they cut it too low and I asked which one , she showed me and it was the paw she clipped and my dog yelped. Because I was done wrong somewhere else the groomer didn't even bother to charge me for the grinding. My issue is why didn't the groomer tell me it was cut too low while I was standing there. The groomer whom cut it to begin with, if she had not felt comfortable because my dog was a bit too much of a busy body for her , all she had to say was that she did not feel comfortable with doing the service because of how my dog was at the time and I would have been fine with that. But now that it happened and you did not tell me while I was standing there, what else haven't you told me about. Like when I got there I could Cinnamon barking and howling from the back , and thats not like her either. This entire trip was traumatizing to my dog and I am sorry that I was ever in a rush to get things done otherwise she would have went somewhere else. I called and spoke to the manager and I am waiting on the grooming manager to review the tape and call me back because I want to know what happened in there to make my dog act out of character the way she did in there care. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE AND I DON'T GIVE A DAMN HOW MANY STARS THEY HAVE! My dog is my family and when people are in this field of work, its easy for the animal to be abused if no one can report it, its not the animal can tell you that they were mistreated. I wish i could give them 0 stars. Pathetic.

Great place to get all pet needs net that have a dog wash if you have a big dog no problem also check out the discount shelf nothing wrong with the stuff on this rack just really good discounts also make sure you sign up for store card
