This is pet supplies store meets petting zoo! We got dog food here that we had looked for in vain at the larger pet stores. They also have an incredible variety of smaller pets for sale, including parrots, chinchillas, boas and large turtles. The clerks have real passion for the animals and seem to really enjoy encouraging visitors to learn about them and even hold them. I was admiring a beautiful red parrot and a clerk came up and said, Would you like to hold it?" She lifted the bird and had it perch on my hand! No one pushed us to buy, just to appreciate.

I love pet world. They're nice, friendly and helpful. I love to bring my dogs in to pick their own food. A little bit on the pricier side on their selection, but they also have a nice variety of grain free and low filler dog food.

Love this pet store employees are knowledgeable and obviously love animals.  They have tortoises from a local rescue and you can feed them. You can also feed the fish. My kids love going to this store also. I would recommend driving from Kansas City or Topeka just to visit this store.

I have never been disappointed in the level of friendly costumer service here. The staff are always friendly and more than willing to let you hold things and answer questions. As far as "chain pet stores" go,  Petworld is mountains above the others. Worth the 40 minute drive for us to go look at some cool animals.

I went with a friend for her to drop of some bunnies she raises for this store. It is an AMAZINGLY fun, clean pet store with a huge, caring staff. I was super impressed with how dedicated this store seems to be to quality & care for #1 the animals there & also their customers. Was so fun!
