The sales people we're so very nice. They even let my new rescue dog try the dog treats to see which ones she liked so I knew what to buy for her!!! They were there for every need my dog had and even took the time to pet her and ask her name. They even recommended things for her that worked out very well!!! My family and I will be returning as often as possible!!!

Very happy with the service. Mallory understood all our requests for our older dog and was genuinely concerned for her wellbeing. In the end our dog looked amazing. We’ve had so many so-so experiences before at other groomers, this was well worth every dollar!

I was shocked the geckos were on absolutely unsuitable substrate..and SARAH ripped the skin off of the head of a leopard gecko when we asked to see it if it was alive.. (to make it more presentable I assume) its head was then raw and almost bleeding. I bought it, because it was the most unlikely to survive in Petcos care. Is that your business? And they say you cant determine sex when they are that young...but they mostly only sell males. WHAT? My daughter bought a python w wobbles. And it was the healthiest python they had. Its GROSS. Petco needs to use more informed respectable breeders and workers. PERIOD. SHAME ON YOU.

Went in for some toys and such for my rats. Was browsing around for awhile and a staff member was getting a rat out of the tank for someone. He picked it up by the tail and it squealed and shoved it into a box. Even if it was meant to be fed to a snake that is no excuse for animal cruelty. I immediately walked out of the store and started crying my eyes out. Rats, or any animal for that matter, should NEVER be picked up by the tail. It is very painful for them and can cause a lot of problems. This was a while back ago and I havent been back since and don't plan to. Not to mention that the information on pet care sheets in chain pet stores like these is often incorrect.
