I adopted a dog and had to make a stop on the way home to get a few supplies. The staff were all so helpful and friendly and made sure I had a coupon book for my new dog. They helped me find and cut out the coupon that I could use. I took my dog in the next day to be groomed and the groomer was so nice and did so well with him. He looked and smelled so much better. His fur was even softer. When I left the store my dog got off his collar and one of the employees helped me catch him or I never would have. We went right in and got a harness for his leash AND signed up for training classes.

Great store. Just got our family a guinea pig from here. The animals don't get a lot of interaction, but obviously the store has to be stocked, cleaned, and ran in general so I'd assume there isn't much time to interact with them. The staff is always friendly and willing to answer and questions that they can. Slightly expensive as far as goods go (food, sprays, and such).

At Petco Saturday for pets to take pic with Santa. Daughter brought her tabby cat/ smokey-max. Very nice & friendly staff with pets. Smokey-max did just fine. No squirming to get away. Petco is fully stocked with all your pet lovers needs, plus a grooming room at the front of the store.

I wanted to review the Petco dog training classes to let people know that these classes are not for dogs with real issues. If you want to teach your dog some basic tricks, then these classes would be great for you. They would score way higher for that. But if you have a dog with serious problems such as our dog, you will be referred to an actual trainer. We have a dog who is bipolar and has aggressive biting issues. She also is aggressive with our cats and eating everything in our house.   We told them upfront about the issues and were told on multiple occasions that they will refer us elsewhere after their classes end to get the help we need. We followed all instructions given but the classes were useless for us. You honestly get what you pay for and for us it was a waste of time and money. We are now going to have to get real, professional training to help us with our dog. Buyer beware!
