I had Hannah as my cashier and she was WONDERFUL!!!!! I used a lot of coupons and she was very patient and kind to me. I just adopted a cat and she showed a lot of interest and was just all around a great employee! If any manger is reading this: give that girl a raise!!!!

We went to the store to make some large purchases (cat trees and water plants) and couldn't find anyone to help us.  The only two employees were both on a cash register and when we asked them to get someone to help us they looked confused and one said she'd be with us after running one more customer through the register. 20 minutes later we were still waiting so we gave up on the water plants and I carried a heavy cat tree to the registers then out to the car, it would have been nice to at least be supplied a cart.  They lost out on a lot of money with the water plants as they are quite expensive, they all looked crappy anyway I bought some at The Ark in Boone.

Great place to take your dog with you and get to meet other dogs and animals then pick out his own treat and food. All the employees are very helpful and knowledgeable on their products, which is very refreshing.

We purchased a lizard from there and 40% of time they don't have food for him. But we have also purchased fish and had a great experience.

A bit pricey but usually offers bargains and samples as well. Best place in Ames to purchase royal canin dog food for Chihuahuas.
