Authentic. Classic. Simple. Where the locals eat!  This is a basic breakfast/lunch cafe with **amazing** food and staff. 

I live just a couple miles away and we come here several times a month. 90%+ of their customers are local regulars. Good portion sizes without being ridiculous and at a good price. You'll leave full and your wallet won't hurt.

The food is classic American diner and they do it very well. Favorites include Pete's Special (a little bit of everything), hash browns, pancakes, and coffee.

Their restaurant is ideal for parties of 4 or less. When it's busy it can take time to seat 5 or more because of their fixed layout with booth seating. That said, usually am seated within 5 minutes and never more than 15. You won't be dazzled by the building and parking can sometimes be challenging (people overflow to the empty lot next to Pete's) but they have it where it counts. This is a place that I love sharing with people.

This is easily my favorite sit down lunch spot in Addison. I LOVE the staff and the daily specials are super filling. Its a small town diner with usual selections, always served hot by super friendly people. Perfect cold weather lunch location. Try the chicken and dumplings on Wednesday!

Everything is consistently delicious.  No frills & nothing fancy, but you'll be well fed, it'll taste great, & you won't be overcharged. The staff are always great & part of the family feel you get every time you come in.

Good, solid, old-fashioned cafe that's always busy . . . But closes at 2pm.  That's the only problem.  But I guess they're happy with the business they have (and it's a lot of business!).

My family has been going to Pete's for as long as I can remember! We know the wait staff and they know us...some even know what my dad's order is going to be! (Because he never changes!) Saw something exciting yesterday...the parking lot has been repaved and it looks great!!! Pete's isn't just any old place to eat- it is truly something special!
