The only regret I have is waiting so long to try it out. The environment, the staff, and most of all, the food was amazing... 5Star ____________________________________ Changing my 5 star rating to a 2.... The food is usually great, but this past Friday I went for the unlimited catfish and it was HORRIBLE!!! I had previously tried the fish on a Wednesday and it was actually good so I decided to take my whole family (2 adults, 5 children) to enjoy the "great" fish... It was completely different. It was little fish nuggets that were full of grease. I probably will go back, but not anytime soon, and especially on Fridays.... long story short, I wasted $105 on grease with a side of fish

First time customer and I probably will not be returning. The first waitress that greeted us was not friendly and seemed bothered. She asked what we wanted to drink and never returned. The second waitress was friendly although the hash browns and toast were cold and the eggs were undercooked. I did leave her a tip and paid a total of 35 dollars w/tip for two people. This included two breakfasts, two coffees and pancakes. I don’t mind paying this amount when you provide excellent service and food. Not a positive experience at all. Hope your experience is better than mine.

Definitely an old-school staple of Dallas. The service was spot on the moment we walked in, and everything after that was easy as pie. Had the pineapple upside down cake which was moist and had a great caramelized crust with pineapple and cherries. Also had a coconuts creme pie which was also very good. Coffee was definitely flowing and never had to ask for refills. I'll be back to try their shakes and an entree or two.

This comfort food is really good. Waitresses greet you with a smile and service is fast. Will be back again for the Double Chocolate Cake again!

Food was delicious. I got the country fried steak. The service was awesome! Will come back soon with friends! I love the 50's!!
