had a great experience! My boyfriend and I were wanting to start a fish tank, we finally decided and the staff was so nice and gave us all the information we wanted. The manager was explaining to us how to set it up and how to maintain the fish. She made sure that we left satisfied and all our questions answered! will definitely go back!!

Decent selection prices are too high for what in reality is okay fish stock.

This review is for the store located 4310 Ditmars Ave in Astoria, Queens (this store isn't on Yelp or Google). Very rude and uncaring staff. Went in to look at fish and noticed numerous fish dead on the bottom of various tanks, one fish decomposing and being eaten by other fish- which when the staff was notified he simply said "yeah I saw that, I'll fish it out later." The back tank had a horrible scene, which my 3 year old daughter did not fully understand, of at least 7 fish stuck on the filter intake. A different staff member stated that tank was full of "feeder fish," giving the impression that tank didn't matter. If so, why would it be on the floor for public viewing? This shows a real lack of professionalism from this stores staff and begs to question the care of non-aquatic animals in the store (i.e.- the cat that was sleeping in its litter box by the front door). Don't support this store.
