I recently purchased a precious little puppy from Pets Plus. This store loves their animals, they are very thorough, and they take very good care of their clients. They are kind and friendly and their hearts are for finding good homes for the animals. Bar none it is the best customer service I have received while searching for my precious little puppy. I will recommend this Pet store above any other store in Stafford. Great customer service and kind people. My puppy is healthy, happy, and settling in at home rather nicely. Thank you Bonnie, Matt, David, and the whole Pets Plus team for your kindness and all of your assistance in finding my little Otis.

They do not care about their animals. Most of them catch kennel cough because of the lack of care. They also sell you a warranty but don't tell you when you buy it that you immediately have to take them to THEIR vet or its not covered. When called to claim the Warranty, you're immediately met with, "You voided the warranty when you didn't take them to our vet." Without even asking if they went, as if they want you to void it without knowing how it works. They do not tell you these details when you buy the dog. These people should not legally be able to sell animals. It's cruel and sick. Just because animals can't talk, does not mean you should treat them like an object. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!

Unfortunately I've done business with pets plus over the years and always gave them the benefit of the doubt. After purchasing a Great Pyrenees puppy, we took him to the vet and he had a bad case of giardia that tooks months to resolve. Sadly Pets Plus likely knew about it as they mentioned as I was leaving with him that he has a "sensitive stomach" -- no, he was sick. After a few months I noticed he wasn't filling out like his breed standard and purchased a DNA test for him. Despite paying for a pure breed dog and even been given his pedigree, our pup is mixed breed. He's a mix of GP, Chow and Anatolian. So not only did we get a sick dog that cost us over $1,000 to get healthy (and I refused their warranty as their shot records could not be trusted according to our vet), we paid full fare for a mutt. On the positive side, now that he's healthy, he's a good dog, but the experience has me solidly committed to never giving Pets Plus another dime. Even if they were unaware of a shady breeder, it was clear he was sick within hours of bringing him home.

Let me start off by saying I don't understand why there are negative reviews of this place which is sad because it's a great place with excellent and knowledgeable employees! Also, let me say, don't let that stop your from making this store your 'goto petshop'. I am always greeted warmly when visiting and asked if I need help, MULTIPLE times. Once you come here you'll know what I'm talking about. That being said, today (2/19/2017) I came in just to get a few snails and hermits for my reef tank. Despite being extremely busy and short staffed they were able to answer all my questions, I got attention from various employees and I would like to point out specifically that Matt (manager/owner?) is a really cool guy, or in short 'THE MAN!!' even if we don't agree on football teams :) He got me what I needed and I was on my way. Keep up the good work guys and best of luck in the future.

My family and I always stop by to see the puppies but today ensured we will not only stop by but never support this local business. While looking at puppies, I went to take a photo of a potential pet and the woman with straight hair and glasses working behind the dogs screamed at me that I couldn't take a photo and then continued to yell at her coworkers that the customers were idiots. She continued to scream despite the fact that the whole store could hear her behind the cages. I was not the only one who was yelled at and called names by this woman but the other customers also said they will NOT come back or purchase a dog. You would think a local business would be politer to their customers especially since they lost a family of five and another family's business. Pretty sad I can no longer support.
