I have a hard time giving a 4 star rating when a person can walk in and shop in a store for more than 15-20 mins and never be approached by an associate and asked if assistance is needed. It just seems like good customer relations; it's not pushy and it's not annoying unless the associate persists. To me it is a simple and very effective way of saying, "I am acknowledging you and notice you are POTENTIALLY in need of assistance. If not, I'll respect your shopping experience and let you know where to find me." However, given that they may have been busier than usual, and all of the other great aspects to the store, I am giving it to them. Each time I have gone into the store is great! So many options and brands...very thorough in coverage of almost all areas with product(s) for most pet varieties not necessitating a specialty store. There are always a good amount of sales going on in each department, AND they have a rewards/points program. Even after not shopping here for about a year due to relocation, they still had my account and points available! That is great! All-in-all, I do like this store and they have groomers on-site if that is ever needed. I will be going back

I like petsmart a lot. I've taken classes with their trainer, and she is wonderful. I've used their daycare services and grooming services and they are all very professional and friendly. The store is always neat and it's easy to find items I'm looking for. They regularly host rescue groups who are helping homeless animals find families, and I love that. Sometimes the lines are a bit long at the queues, but that's to be expected, especially on a weekend.

Stopped in here for the first time, as I'm new to the area, and was looking to see if they stocked New Balance. I gotta say, at first I was amazed, but while I was in there, I began hating the place. It's a massive pet store! Wow! We didn't know where anything was, so we just walked around, and never once were we asked if we needed any assistance. And let me tell you, there's a lot of employees all over. The place smells bad, but that's probably the large assortment of pets. We saw fish, lizards, and eventually found the felines. One even hid under it's blanket. Adorable. We then found where all the canines were enjoying play time. All the animals was the highlight. We eventually found New Balance. They didn't have the size of wet food we get, so we bought bigger cans. And we picked up a bag of dry food. The shelf tag shown the large bag was $10 more than the small bag, so being money savvy, we opted for the larger bargain at price per pound. $30 instead of $20. We went to check out, where despite all the employees in the store, only one lane was open. We were next in line so we figured no big deal. We ended up waiting over ten minutes to be next, and the line behind us backed up 5+ customers. All because the person checking out was pinching pennies and wanted to use a coupon on a BOGO sale. This just irritates me on a personal level. It's totally a me thing. If you can afford a pet, don't get one. Anyways, the clerk wasn't sure and called for a manager. That was the long wait at the register. Never did she call for an extra cashier. At least you can watch the grooming station. Anyways, my shelf tagged dry food at $30, ended up being, $38. I paid it, no complaint. But I know where not to shop. Lots of pets to see if you want to loiter, or kill time before a movie. But with the poor customer service, and high pricing, I'll stick with Pet Supplies Plus. They greet you and you can get the same product for less. Nice store, poor execution.

Needs to keep their tropical fish better stocked. Too many empty tanks. No rain checks for fish on sale.

Every living item I have purchased has died quickly, fish, snails and shrimp. They do have a good supply of aquarium decorations, no drift wood though.
