I am 40 weeks pregnant and cannot groom my dog, and being that Petsmart has a good reputation in my hometown, I decided to get my dog groomed here. My dog is a bit bigger, and I understand he can be a bit spastic, but he is a gentle giant and can be coaxed. He had his ears cleaned, his glands emptied, his coat washed, and his teeth cleaned. I wanted his nails clipped, but they told me they could not do it because he was too strong, so they gave me the teeth cleaning for free. When my husband and I went to pick him back up he looked horrible. His eyes were bloodshot, his ears were red and swollen, his fur was still wet, and his gums were inflamed. We took him home and waited for it to go down, but it has been about a week and his ears are swollen, red, and gunky, his skin is crazy itchy, and he's scooting across the floor. I had absolutely no problems with this before hand. I took him to the vet today and she told me not to take him back. I don't know if he had a reaction to the products they were using or if he was handled roughly, but I will not be going back. I will pay a little more money at another groomer where I know they will be gentle and professional. My dog didn't have a problem with his nails being clipped or his ears being cleaned before hand, but now he won't let anyone near his feet or ears. Do your dog a favor and pay the extra $20 and take them somewhere else.

Misty ( the manager) complete b!tch, if youre trying to adopt an animal she will automatically deem you too "sketchy". She has red hair and a tooth gap that is the size of Texas not to mention her terrible breath . If this "woman" tries to help you ask for somebody else. I'm not a person to write bad reviews but Misty was unbelievably rude to me. Don't get me wrong though everyone else who works there is very nice and helpful.

Do not take your dog to the one on College and 76!!!. Do your best friend a favor and look somewhere else. I took my puppy to get his vaccinations a couple weeks ago and they almost killed him! He was perfectly fine but was due for his first 2 shots but instead they gave him 4 shots without telling me . They just came out and said "okay we gave him 4 shots" and just wanted the payment. I was worried about the amount of shots given all at once but they said he will be fine and to let them know otherwise.My puppy got so sick and didn't eat for a week. I brought him back after the first 2 days to see what was going on. They didn't have a clue what to do or where to start. I understand that this is a business and they need to be paid to keep their business running but they were more worried about getting paid than my dog's well being. Just bad business and no professionalism at all. Don't spend your money somewhere that can care less what happens to your dog as long as they get paid! I took my dog elsewhere and they knew exactly where to start and got my dog back on the right track and yes it did cost a pretty penny but they actually cared about my dog...

I'd give you a zero if I could. You did a hack job on my lab. She has hair missing on her chest and bottom. Didn't bother to tell my dad that is was $22 extra for special shampoo. We won't be back!! Who gives a razor cut so short you expose the skin in random spots, not even an even cut all over the body. Ridiculous ridiculous. 😡😡 By the way, I don't want anything from you. I just want people to know what can happen to their babies when in your hands.
