Appalled! Instead of nicely explaining the fish policy and why i am unable to buy a small 3$ goldfish, i was met with extreme attitude. Instead of shuffling around with with a look of hatred on your face, maybe try a smile or quit your job. I guess who must really enjoy ruining a small kids day because is 10 gal fish tank isn't luxurious enough for a 1 inch fish. There are much better ways to speak to customers than aggression. Maybe the fish department isn't the right place for you,attitude belongs with the poop bags.

I went in the store to look at the shock collars , I ask for help and info on them. I was told to look at the chart that was there. I wanted help and info and she couldn't help me. When I figured out which one to buy, she told me to get the card and bring it to the register. The cashier called for a manager to get the product, well the girl I asked for help was the one that was gonna get it, after all that they didn't have any. Couldn't she tell me they were out when she was sort of helping me. Very poor service.

I have been a long time customer and today will be my last visit to your store. I came in concerned that something was charged on my receipt, but I never received the item (cost of the item was less than $10). It was not a huge deal but I did find that it was concerning to know, I had been charged but did not receive what I was charged for. When I asked the clerk, she became very defensive, I tried to speak calmly and explain my concern wasn’t with her personally, and she is just representing the store so I am coming to her for help. Then she yelled at me saying she needed a break and should probably kill herself. I am horrified and in shock! I had to ask several employees to please make sure this clerk was going to be ok. My heart breaks from people who feel the need to say something so devastating. I will never return to your store in fear of experiencing something like this again. This should never have happened. I pray for this young woman.

This review is specifically about their grooming department. Nice & friendly staff aside from 1 gentleman who checked us in; he came across as wanting us to just get in & get out & not really listening/understand what type of grooming we wanted on our dog. My husband specifically asked & showed images & showed him on our dog, an area we did not want touched, at all. When we went to pick her up, this specific area was completely cut/shaved off. Her tail was also very uneven. I immediately brought her back in & asked if they could neated up her tail, which they did. Again, the ladies there when we picked up my dog, were friendly and accommodating & did apologize. The gentlemen who apparently did the grooming, was not there, otherwise I would have certainly addressed this with him. When I'm paying $60 for a service and make my requests crystal clear, I expect my request to be heard and understood. I doubt I shall return for grooming for my dog.

I work at a competitor chain pet store, but i always like to look in other stores just to check them out and specifically see other store's selection of fish and live animals, as mine is limited. I casually came in and went straight for the fish tanks, and I was very dissapointed. I understand how hard it is to keep so many tanks looking good, but all the tanks looked very bad. Glass was so dirty on some that i could barely see the fish inside and they have VERY small spaces for each group of fish, (even very large fish) even for a short period of time. Overall they looked like they were not well taken care of and there were two emplyees standing next to them the entire time.I would never buy a fish from there. When I went to see the small animals (hamster etc) the enclosures looked pretty good but the reptiles made me upset. Again, some glass was so dirty that i could not even see the reptile inside, the very small cages were overstocked with inhabitants, specifically the baby bearded dragons, very small spaces for the snakes aswell. Something that bothered me the most was the Ball Pythons. I don't know a huge amount about snakes, but there were two in one enclosure (not sure if thats ok) and the one that was moving around looked EXTREMELY skinny, even for a baby snake. Overall the store was a bit chaotic but for a pet store I would expect the live animals in stock to be in the best condition they can possibly be.
