Story

The Pfluger-Rock School of Music offers private, weekly music lessons to children and adults in a clean, safe, fun, and family oriented environment. Beginners are welcome! Our studio has 8 lesson rooms featuring a drum room with two full acoustic drum sets. Our piano rooms have full size Kawai acoustic pianos. Locally owned since 2000, we have taught thousands of students from the Pflugerville, Round Rock, north Austin and Hutto communities. Lessons for piano, voice, guitar, drum set, bass guitar and violin. Featured in Community Impact Magazine.

I've been taking guitar lessons with Todd for a few months and oh boy, what an amazing teacher. I have taken lessons with other people in the past but I love the way Todd teaches. I thought I knew a lot, but he breaks it down to the basic level and then fills in the blanks with even more understanding. I look forward to each lesson and always learning something new, without fail!

I have been taking guitar lessons here for years and think this is the best music school in Austin. Lessons are reasonably priced and the whole atmosphere is friendly. My teacher is talented and patient and has taught me well. I also see many children taking lessons here and they seem to be happy as well, smiling as they leave. I highly recommend Pfluger Rock for both adults and children!

Instructors are professional and patient, the school well managed, and they customize the lessons as each week goes by, always making it a challenge. For the overall quality, the lessons are a great bargain for anyone and I highly recommend the Pfluger Rock Music School.

My son is 8 and started guitar lessons 4-months ago, I have been amazed at the simple things like posture, dexterity and building strength in the finger tips, he is receiving classical instruction at a first rate operation all the way around, from owner to administration to instruction! We could not be more happy and highly recommend Pfluger-Rock School of Music for children and adults.

Both our children have been taking music lessons(guitar and piano) at Pfluger Rock for a few years now and it has been so enjoyable to watch them both develop musical skills very quickly and become so creative in their new found talents thanks to the wonderfull staff at the school. The atmosphere is warm and inspiring in addition to offering a wide array of talented teachers and instruments to select from for your musical preference. The school is very accomodating for busy schedules and communicates clearly and quickly with us as needed for any rearrangements for our childrens lesson times. Our daughter loves taking guitar lessons and there seems to be no shortage of six stringers of all ages learning from Todd and his staff. They also host recitals during the year to showcase the developing talent of the students and all parents are fully supportive of these events. It's pretty cool to hear the teachers and students playing together at these events. And the teachers really listen to the students and will change their music lesson choices to keep our kids inspired to keep on rocking and practice harder.  Thanks so much to everyone at Pfluger Rock for keeping the music alive and kicking!
