Why are we paying them license renewal fees every other year if they are too incompetent to renew the license for the child abuse CE when both NABP and the CE provider sends it to them? Their system keeps crashing and the phone and email messages are automatic. No wonder the pharmacy profession is sinking. I would like to fire them all.

It is always really difficult to get someone on the phone and then once you do, they rush you off. When I called I could hear texting noises from the other person on the end of the line. The process of licensing in the state takes a long time so if you're thinking of working and becoming licensed in PA, give yourself plenty of time.

I hope this review prepares someone else to plan ahead of time, give the board MONTHS in advance to do its process. It took me 7 months to get my license transferred from Colorado. Laws of PA is very outdated, people that practice in my field aren't very familiar with the actual law either. And I think the board is understaffed. I hope it gets better. Thanks for those working so hard.

Hard to get a hold of them on the phone, They often pick up and hang up after you wait on hold. Very slow at getting anything done on the website.

I’ve always had a great experience when contacting the PA Board of Pharmacy. It’s always been easy to get ahold of them and the people I talk to are always helpful in answering my questions. I’ve had to deal with other BOP’s and PA is one to the better ones to deal with.

Is unconstitutional corrupt organization as are all professional licensing boards.
