This was a really fun tour. I wasn't expecting to be laughing and be informed at the same time. The tour is basically just a guy who will talk about the history of medical practice in 19the century New Orleans in a small confined space which is basically the main floor upon entering the pharmacy. I was pleasantly surprised that the tour felt like n hour-long stand up on historical medicinal practices. The guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The 2end floor displays more medicinal artifacts and an actual birthing room used back in the day. Overall I learned a lot during this tour. Highly recommend anyone visiting NOLA to check out this museum.

at first i expected it to be kind of a niche thing for people who only into this kind of stuff, ie pharmacy students and pharmacists. but i also have an appreciation for art and design and got to see some medicines and tools that i could admire. glad i discovered it through atlas obscura.
