They still have individual crash pads (indoors!) that you have to move around and if it’s your first time climbing at PRG they will make you take a “test” (which just seems like a way to squeeze an extra $5 out of you for the “intro to climbing” instruction when you “fail” the test).

I have been to many different rock gyms and while I am not a highly skilled climber, I have never really felt bad about my climbing abilities, but between the routes (which didn’t offer much variety for beginner/intermediate climbers) and the staff (who were unfriendly and somewhat judge-y) I did feel bad about my climbing skills. 

I definitely won’t be back.

Came here for date night with a Groupon and had a blast. The staff explained everything quickly and ensured we were comfortable with the equipment then let us climb. The walls were all pretty challenging for a beginner. The East Falls location has a better variety of courses but this was a fun activity.

Had an awesome time here. Excellent instructors for our into to bouldering and top rope. Im excited to challenge myself with the ever changing walls they put up
