Member since it opened in 2012. The long hours were certainly an attraction when I joined because I was still working. Now that I’m retired, I’m able to go even more frequently. Almost a 5-star, but not quite. Lose the Fox News channel, and replace it with the CW Philly (also known as channel 57). And please take out the blowing hand dryers in the bathrooms and replace them with paper towels, like you had when you first opened. I like that you have the full-length lockers, where I can store my full-length winter coat. (I went to a Planet Fitness in upstate NY, where the winters are a lot colder than they are here, and they only had half-length lockers. Fortunately, my visit there was in the summer.) My biggest gripe is with the members who leave crumpled up paper towels, Tootsie Roll wrappers, and empty (and even not-so-empty) water bottles in the machines. But I do recommend this place, and I always feel like I had a great workout when I’ve been here!

Looks like we are in for another Summer dealing with a crippled, inadequate air conditioning system at this Planet Fitness gym. The indoor temperature today almost matched the outdoor temperature of 80 degrees in some parts of the building and this is only April. It has been four years now that patrons at this location have had to suffer with elevated temperatures because apparently the franchise owner cares more about the bottom line than the comfort of members. Every year repairs are made but they never work. It is a real shame too. Otherwise this is a great gym with an indoor space that is so open and filled with natural light.

This is my gym!! I had at one time tried a different gym with a pool but they were pricey and pushy because they kept asking me to pay several hundred dollars extra for a month of personal training! Needless to say I cancelled that membership and returned to Planet Fitness where they have everything I need for cardio and strength training, as well as a hydro massage bed (Wow!) for post workouts. Here you set up an appointment and the train you as part of your membership, never pushy and so nice! $22 dollars a month and I can go to any Planet Fitness in the USA. Recommended.

I just love this gym, especially the one in Jenkintown and the one in the upper Northeast that's where I love to go it's just such a nice feeling when you go in there they don't have classes so if you're into classes then it's not the gym for you but if you like to work on machines like I do get in and get out within like 45 minutes that's the gym to go to
