Stopped in for lunch while shopping in the plaza. The food was hot, fresh and tasty. I had no issues whatsoever. The service was pleasant and friendly, I was greeted with smiling faces and my order was brought to my table. I will definitely return to try other things. Parking: Parking is in a huge plaza. Lots of parking
I've been here twice this week! 3 times total after finally going in. I used to frequent with my mom to the one in Ga/Fla about 20 yrs ago as a young girl. So I wondered if it was the same business, if the food was still as good & it is!! ITS SO GOOD!! *For the price of one firehouse sub same size you can get a entire combo hereThey also sell other things like wings & Italian ice but haven't tried them yet. I got "The mushroom" with light onions, light banana peppers & provolone substitute. It was perfect! Down to the lightly sweet buttery bread they use. Features: Have booths & social distanced seating.
This place is absolutely amazing. I’ve come nearly everyday for a couple weeks and every single time it’s hot, fresh, and delicious. The employees are always inviting and kind. I’ve brought multiple friends and they all agree with me when I say this place is just amazing. Best Phillys in the Orange Park-Jacksonville area! Parking: Plenty of parking due to it being in a town center
So I went here for lunch and I was not necessarily pleased with the food but the service was okay. I did not like the chicken much on my Philly and I felt like the price was a little high for the quality. Will probably be my last time but if you are super hungry and only option is this or McDonald's I'd eat this.
I visited this restaurant today around lunch time 12pm after dropping off a package at the UPS Store 2 doors down. I just read the reviews and see that the owners will probably respond to my review with a smart a** sarcastic response because they take the bad ones personally instead of checking themselves first and foremost. If you continue to get the same bad reviews then it’s YOU and not the customers…… There was only 2 other people one couple eating lunch. Should have been a clue to go somewhere else. I ordered The Original Combo 7 inch with Cheese Whiz added. I asked the Asian Lady probably the owners what type of fries and what size came with the combo? She immediately caught an attitude like why was I asking? She replied they were crispy fries and there was only one size, which was 6 ounces. I took a seat at one of the tables and she immediately within 5 minutes brought my basket of food. I immediately noticed that there was barely cheese sauce on the Philly so I took the basket back up to the counter and asked her how much did you guys charge for the cheese sauce? Her answer was 1.00. I said for this little amount of cheese? She stated that’s a lot of cheese. With a bigger attitude…. All I said was oh I definitely won’t be coming back here again. I immediately took a picture and as you can see there is barely cheese on it at all. The only good thing about the meal was the fries and drink. The Philly was greasy, bland at best. Just look at the picture. Definitely not worth 13.00. If you are wanting a good Philly Cheesesteak DON’T waste your time going here. Take the extra time and drive over to Bowden Rd and go to EDDIS AND SON CHEESESTEAK. 100% better and a lot friendlier customer service.
Me and my family visited this restaurant for the first time in hopes of having a good Philly but was highly disappointed in the quality of the chicken Philly. It tasted like the frozen chicken strips out the grocery store…not worth the price. Then strike two…my husband ordered 3 8 inch subs and we only received 2 of them and one 5 inch and when my husband asked about it he was told that they didn’t charge him for the third 8 inch and would make another sandwich for me if he paid $1 more. 5 minutes later the waitress returns and says she’s sorry but the cook was too busy to make another 8 inch but gave me a 1 inch sandwich. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
We stopped in to try the Italian Ice but I love cheesesteaks , so why not? We got the passionfruit and cotton candy Italian ice and the works cheesesteak without the pizza sauce. Everything was delicious, great service, fresh food and great atmosphere.Food: 5/5
First time here. Ordered 10 "The Mushroom" on a 10 inch roll and it was good. For the sandwich and large drink the total came to around $12. The man who took my order was nice and service was quick.
The original joint for a Philly! Love the pizza steak or the classic. OP you lucky this in your backyard. Need one at the beaches. Thanks really great service
First time visiting here, so maybe it hadn’t been a great Saturday for them. It was 6:30pm, dinner time, and we were the only ones there. That should’ve been the first red flag. Workers had clearly never been to a MOD Pizza or Chipotle to realize that you should greet guests upon entry. It was a very long, awkward walk up to the register without any acknowledgment of our presence. I had to to say hello first. We ordered the original philly, onion rigs and cheese sticks. The philly tasted like cheap ground beef. No seasoning, skimpy on the cheese and onions however, the bread was fresh. The sides were ok, but everything tasted and felt greasy. Please see my review on Z Best Eats to see what a philly should look like. There were two workers that we encountered and neither had a personality shining through that evening. There was no upsale, no suggestion of items, no smiles, nobody going above and beyond offering Chick Fila extra mile service. I think they’d be much happier finding a job that they were passionate about. The glass doors and sneeze shields were not clean. The signage was greasy and faded. And with no customers, they certainly had time to clean. If it was clean and smelled clean, one could overlook that the place really needs a fresh update but all the grime just accentuated the need for an update. I get it, fried foods make everything greasy and sticky, but you have to stay on top of cleaning that. We most likely will not be visiting again.
