My physical therapist, Rachel, was knowledgeable, patient, positive, challenging but realistic. Thankful that she was caring and flexible to my needs and abilities. Rachel offered then introduced me to dry needling, which was most helpful in relieving my sciatic pain. She was well-rounded, personal, yet still professional so the sessions were not boring. I was injured by the PTs here while in treatment. I was referred by Kaiser and have filed a complaint with them. I liked my PT Karen and we were making great progress, then last week she handed me off to a new PT who, under Karen's direction, pushed me too hard--I am 71--and I suffered a strained muscle and acute pain. I am now walking with a cane and will need weeks to heal. I am being treated by Kaiser. Physio needs to be more careful, especially with seniors like me. I know most people have a good experience here and that the PTs didn't mean to hurt me. But they did.
I wasn't his scheduled client for the day, but Jacob stepped in to assist and was super patient and descriptive concerning my situation. It was my first visit with this location. He made me feel comfortable and informed.
I highly recommend therapy at Physiotherapy Associates-Decatur Pta Team. The facility is extremely clean and features the newest equipment including steppers, bikes and smaller items such as ankle weights and foam rollers. I am assigned to Karen Taylor, PT. Karen Taylor is very attentive as she focuses on her client's problems and applies best practices. She concentrates on physical exercises such as clamshells, clocks, bridges, straight leg lifts with ankle weights, according to each client's needs. Karen clearly describes supplemental therapy. She sends video instructions to her clients for them to perform at home. In addition, the office staff at Physiotherapy Associates-Decatur 495 Winn Way is friendly and efficient in scheduling and billing.

This was my first experience going to PT. While I was hesitant at first Jake did a great job at explaining the the issues I was experiencing at a more in depth muscular/skeletal level that was still very easy to understand. This clear understanding helped me better understand how the work Jake was having me undergo would benefit injury but also prevent re-injuring that area. Jake and the other staff were a very personable always making patients laugh and we’re extremely encouraging. I appreciate the work he did and would definitely recommend this practice.
Emily Jaeger, my extraordinary PT, is simply the best! I came to her with a can’t hardly move severe back pain. She got me up and running in just 2 weeks and I really appreciate her expertise, professionalism and her warm caring spirit!
The Physio team is very professional and courteous to their patients. Jacob Raymond is my physical therapist and he is engaging and cares about your well-being. I would definitely recommend trying them.
