When I purchased a piano for my daughter from a woman a few blocks away, it was up to me to move it. Rather than risk damaging the piano or my back I called the professional Long Island piano movers from Pianoland. It took them around 45 minutes to complete the move. It was worth the modest fee that they charged. I called them back the next week for professional piano tuning also.

I hired Pianoland to bring my piano to my new home on Long Island. They were able to take it through a narrow doorway and down a flight of outside stairs. When they got to my new place it was a little easier, if being piano movers is ever easy. They seemed to have all the piano moving down to a science. Watching trained NYC piano movers is an experience in itself.

I was given a vintage Steinway that belonged to a neighbor and close friend. All I had to do was to move it and then have it tuned. I hired Pianoland to move it and they also had someone that could tune it. I never knew that they were not only great NYC piano movers they were fine tuners.

When I was transferred overseas for a year I had my piano storage with Pianoland. They picked up my baby grand, and took it to their special piano warehouse which is climate controlled in NYC. When I returned they delivered the piano to my new home without a scratch. It sounded great too, just like it did before.

I bought my daughter a used baby grand and needed to get it home. I never could have done it without the help of Pianoland of Freeport. They had to take the door off to get it into my house. I realized what a hard job it is being NYC piano movers and also the skill that it takes.
