A perfect spot to dine out on the patio on the lively Newbury St. This place offers a selection of authentic vegetarian Italian dishes that are hard to come by. Our server Edith was EXCEPTIONAL and took great care of us. She made sure we had everything we needed and the food was to our taste and according to our dietary restrictions. This was my 3rd time dining here, and I want to come back every time I pass by this spot.
Hostess was so friendly and accommodating our party’s sitting outdoor preference. The restaurant is just beautiful as there are three dining room options and an outdoor sitting area one of the prettiest outdoor areas very quaint and cozy with lots of greenery/plants providing an intimate experience as our family chose to sit as the weather was spectacular on a Sunday afternoon. We were greeted by our male server who provided Excellent customer service!! The food was absolutely delicious and good portions for the price. We would definitely return when in town!
The restaurant seating is cozy and the ambience is nice and has calm lighting. We arrived with 7 people and a reservation, with no issues. Our server was very kind and patient, and didn't rush us at all. Our food was delicious, and reasonably sized. Orders with individual items, like bread sticks, or the bruschetta, arrived with only 2 per order, so you may need to share, if you're going with more than one person. This restaurant is on Newbury St in Boston, so there is only street parking available, and there is free street parking after 8 pm, and on Sundays. Kid-friendliness: There was a family of 5 at the table next to us, which seemed to have included children aged around 5-8, and the staff/restaurant was very accommodating and patient with all of the patrons of the restaurant.
Tried this lovely Patio tonight with my kiddos, fantastic food and atmosphere. Had the pasta with butternut squash and gorgonzola ...divine! My son had the Margarita pizza, and meatballs..just like Nonna- Sunday gravy..amazing! Have lived in Boston for 5 years, cannot believe it took us this long!!Food: 5/5
I had dinner here recently and with a table outside, the atmosphere was very warm and pleasant, with the gentle breeze and the street ambiance making for a very relaxing evening. The staff is very courteous and it is a great place to be with a family and/or a casual but fulfilling meal. I started with the Melanzane Affumicate appetizer, which was a very tasty recipe of fried eggplant with mozzarella in a tomato cream truffle sauce. It was a great starter, and the main course was a very delectable Burrata Ravioli dish. The stuffed ravioli drenched in a savory truffle cream sauce with cherry tomato caponata was mouthwatering delicious. The complimentary bread with olive oil is a very hearty serving, and needless to say could get you stuffed easily, as it did with me, leaving no room for dessert. The service I got from Melisa was outstanding; very cheerful and she helped me in picking the dishes. I observed her doing a great job with all the other patrons as well. The restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere inside and they also have a very elegant room with great decor for private parties. Overall, I had a very satisfying time and would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a casual but quality Italian restaurant while out on Newbury Street. Parking: Parking is always difficult to find on Newbury Street especially during busy periods. There are parking garages on nearby Boylston Street.
We loved our dinner at Piattini!!!! The pasta was next level delicious - we had the lobster ravioli and burrata ravioli! Save room for the chocolate torta - perfectly hot with super yummy ice cream!!! Best part of the night was the excellent friendly service by Sebastian!!!!! Thanks Piattini for a very memorable dinner!!!!!Food: 5/5
Fantastic restaurant and food experience! We had the arugula salad and homemade fusilli with basil pesto and wild mushrooms. Absolutely mouthwatering and delicious! Everything was fresh and nicely presented. The homemade pasta was WOW! I also liked that the portions for each salad and pasta had been huge, ideal for the big hungry eater! The service had been excellent, very friendly and attentive. The interior we sat at the bar and exterior with fire lamps as heaters super cozy. All in all, my favorite restaurant in Boston so far and a MUST TRY for all Italian foodies Grazie! Vegetarian options: Lovely! Enough veggie options to choose from!
We randomly walked in and were immediately seated at the bar. They served complimentary sour dough bread which was fresh and addicting. We ordered pasta and it was yummy. They have full bar and great ambiance and a lot of seating options indoor and outdoor.Food: 5/5
I stopped in here before the Boston Red Socks game. It was the weekend of the Boston marathon, so very busy. As a single person I didn't prebook. They accommodated me by sitting me at the bar. Staff were great, the atmosphere was very friendly and service was quick. The food was incredible, very very tasty. I'll come back next time I'm in Boston.
This is my first dinner in Boston and I already like this city! This restaurant is like half basement of the building. Small but have an atmosphere. Staff are friendly and foods are amazing. Love the bread, love the mussels and also pasta. Unfortunately I didn’t have space for desserts but looking at next table, those look amazing. Definitely try next time.
