Dr. Torres has been my OBGYN from since I moved to Statesville, NC and I also continued seeing her while I was pregnant. I'm extremely satisfied with her services

Went to her to find out why after 3 yrs of trying to get pregnant it just wasn't happening. I knew my weight was a big issue and she put me on metformin after having blood work and told me that it would help me lose some weight which it did (total 20lbs). How ever my weight fluctuates alot up 5lbs and down 5lbs and in between my appointments I got sick and went to urgent care and of course they weigh you and i had gained some. Next appointment with Dr. Torres she goes through my records and tells me Ive not lost weight but that Ive gained weight and Im like "no at this point Im 15lbs less than I was to start with", but she basicly tells me that if i want she can start me on the fertility meds but it really wont work bc of my weight but I could get lucky and that I should just go home try to lose more weight and when I FEEL LIKE I HAVE LOST ENOUGH I should make another appointment! So I have no clue how much she wanted me to lose in the short 3 month period between visits nor do I have a clue how much I should be losing now bc I was too angry and hurt bc it felt like she gave up on me to even think to ask. Also Im pretty sure she was complaining about me when she left the room to one of her staff.
