Dr. Harknett caused unnecessary stress to my son and daughter in law after the birth of their first child. Things were said and done that created more tension, fear, and frustration than necessary. Her inexperience dealing with new parents, her quick conclusions, and her overall lack of bedside manner did nothing but impart to those involved, only hostility and mistrust. If you have a struggling newborn, do not have Dr. Harknett see your child. It’s not worth the unnecessary stress that follows.

Anytime I have tried to make and appointment for my children I get transferred to Gastonia and have never had any help. I have had to wait almost 20 minutes for anyone to even pick up to make an appointment, and when I do get through they are extremely rude and act like it is some huge inconvenience to help me. I am seriously considering finding a new pediatrician because of this. The dental side is great though.

Dr. Harknett is a trusted and caring professional who has gone above and beyond in her service to our children. Our kids have never minded going to the doctor, and our family has been more than satisfied with the patient experience at Dr. Harknett's office.

My wife and I came to the clinic with our newborn. We were visiting the area on vaca. The staff was good. Dr. Kpodo was very good with us and our child. She even called a week later to see how our baby was doing, that was very sweet of her. If we lived in town this would the place to go! thank you statesville childrens clinic!! good to know there are ppl that actually care.

I love love dr. Kpodo! She is someone who you can trust and treats you like family. I was her patient until 18! Unfortunately some of her staff is rude, and sometimes gets too difficult(which is highly unprofessional). But best pediatric physician I could ask for.
