Yesterday, my husband and I went to Pier One to pick up some nightstands that we had ordered online. When we pulled around the back of the store I realized that one of them was a floor model. I asked to see the top because she had wrapped it up for me. She proceeded to tell me that is was in great condition. I open up the plastic and it was scratched! She told me again and again what excellent condition it was in, and that she sold things in this condition all the time, but it was scratched! It was such a hassle and this new young brunette manager has zero customer service experience and is just emotionless and self-righteous. I have shopped at this store for years and have spent a lot of money here. The male manager is fun and very customer friendly as well as the other cashiers. I guess one bad apple can ruin the bunch, I am shopping at Park Meadows.

I received a swingasan with stand for Mother's Day. This store does not keep them in stock so you must order it and have it delivered to the store. It was delivered so my husband went to pick it up. We got it home and after taking the packaging off of the stand, it was completely scratched, paint peeling and the base was bent to the point that the pole could not go in. We drove back (from castle rock) to try and exchange for a new one. I wanted it delivered to avoid having to drive all the way back again and in order for them to do that they wanted to charge $99.  I told them no way, just return it. As the clerk was attempting to return it he told me that he could give me a gift card or return it to one of my cards, he couldn't just return it to the card it was purchased on. They also don't carry the cushions in stock for these swings so I had to order one of those online on a Saturday. The lady who ordered it in store said it would be at my house by Tuesday. They lied and I still don't have that. Which will need to be returned as well. This gift that was supposed to be relaxing has now turned into a nightmare. Thanks pier 1 for ruining my Mother's Day and causing such a headache. I will not be returning.

I freakin love Pier 1! It is expensive, but I believe the quality of the products is worth the extra money. Wait for clearance/sales and they do offer coupons/discounts on their Facebook page. You must check them out over the holidays, the store is decked out!
