Friendly staff and convenient location and great food make this a great stop for any meal. We stopped by three different times during a recent visit and the staff were friendly and helpful even when it was busy. I highly recommend the Paris-Brest pastry.

A true gem. This is how most regular restaurants in France do it, so was nice to see in Eagle Rock of all places. Fresh ingredients, careful execution, and prices that keep you coming back and keep you eating in the neighborhood. Will definitely return. Love the minimal corkage too!

Had lunch at Pitchoun once and it was delicious. The atmosphere is great. I also bought a loaf of bread to take home and it's probably their best kept secret. I wish they had loans of bread daily. Several times, though, I caught myself making a detour downtown just to take home a loaf of sourdough bread and walked out empty handed. They stack a bunch of baguette but rarely loafs. That's the reason for my 3 stars. I would call this place Pitchoun Patisserie and Café... not bakery.

Great place for brunch! Delicious food & quick service! My friend Anderson had the North Pole Tartine & I had the quiche Lorraine!

It's a very nice bakery and café. However, I don't appreciate being charged 50 cents for a little square of butter to go with the croissants I pay $3.00 each for. I usually buy two, so that's $6.00. There should be NO charge for the butter. That's just plain oppressive and GREEDY.
