I wanted to try a new pizza place as I grew tired of the places I usually go , I decided to give these guys a shot because they are close to me and the photo reviews look delicious. Ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and chicken tenders and It was better than I hoped for plus the price was right in my budget. Had friends over and they were asking where I ordered from lol. I will definitely order from here again
Everything was delicious!! I order a Pizza burger not on the menu yet!! And it was amazing and the service was wonderful. Go go go support local businesses.
I started eating this pizza years ago when I was in college. I don’t spend the entire year in Pittsburgh anymore but I always make a point to have this pizza if I’m in town. In my opinion it is the finest pizza in the city of Pittsburgh! And over the past 20 years nothing has changed, the quality and ingredients are still top-notch. There’s no scrimping. Also it was great to see the staff sanitizing their Hands and following good cleaning protocols today! I highly recommend this merchant!
I liked the food and had become a pretty regular customer. Most recently I observed one of the cooks digging in his teeth with his finger, lifted his hat and ran his hands through his hair and then put his hands directly in a big bin full of cheese! I can never go back, especially given the virus that we are all dealing with in one way or another. Restaurants should be taking more than the usual care to keep customers safe. Disappointed
Best pizza in Pittsburgh. Hands down. No contest. The dough here is incredible, the pizza barely even needs the toppings! We have had a medium pepperoni and buffalo chicken countless times and they never disappoint. I also think the staff in here is really friendly. They always make sure you know how long until your pizza is ready. We were here on Valentine's day and they were slammed but they were handling it gracefully and we didn't mind the wait at all. Well worth it!
I would have given 5 stars if they didn't mess up the steak hogie. I said NO tomatoes! And add mayonnaise. The put tomatoes on it and Italian dressing. Totally disgusting, threw the hogie in the trash , waste of money. Pizza and fries on the other hand was amazing.
The pepperoni pizza is so good! The pizza sizes are large, a medium easily feeds 2-3 people.Dine in: NoOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
Okay, so... I hate leaving reviews for a restaurant I only tried once, I like to get another shot before I review but they aren't getting my business again. I ordered through Postmates and the delivery was fine, no complaints there. I read reviews on here pretty positive for the most part before I ordered since I never had Pizza Italia before and I like trying new places. I wasn't impressed at all. First of all, I had just one bite of the breadsticks and threw them away. Tasted/looked/smelt like the cheap ones you get at the grocery store. Was a total waste of money. The pizza was lame. Nothing special about it. An okay crust, okay sauce and bland cheese. There is like sooooo spices or anything to give it taste and the cheesy was just chewy, not melty.
Over 4 stars? Come on guys. This is terrible. Mounds of greasy melted flavorless cheese on soggy flavorless bread. I think there's some sauce in there somewhere. You could eat a piece of the pizza box with grease and cheese on it and not know the difference. Bonus points for arguing with me when I told them their pickup address on yelp was incorrect.
I am really sad. Since I’ve been in Pittsburgh for school, I’ve noticed that Pittsburgh pizza isn’t great. Once in a while, I crave pizza so much that I just need to order it, and I have been trying different places to find a good-average one. Seeing 4.4 stars, I thought this wouldn’t be too bad. I WAS WRONG. I ordered cheese fries, cheesy garlic bread, and veggie pizza. I opened the box, and the color of the pizza was the most unappealing I’ve seen. The veggies, which were so dull and brown in color I can only assume or at least hope were canned, covered the pizza and caused it to be soggy. When picking up a slice that, mind you, was barely hot, everything slid off. They were mushy, except for the onions which were virtually raw. The crust tasted like dough. Not only in regards to the pizza but to all three items ordered, not one was cooked until it was crispy in any way, shape, or form. The fries were brown and at first, looked like they would be crispy, but they were not at all. Even the parts that were not covered in cheese whiz. The cheese whiz was the only ok part of this meal. The garlic bread smelled weird, and the after taste WILL NOT GO AWAY. I would rather have had frozen garlic bread from the grocery store. $20.95 was spent, except I wouldn’t take food from here for free after this experience. Save your money.
