I have been with PF since Jan 2016 and really have enjoyed it up to this point. This location does not enforce the policies that I am accustomed too. I was told that I could not have a small gym bag with me on the floor by the staff and I am glad that I Was reminded of that, however several people have been getting away with that. You can’t use some of the equipment because people are on their phones chatting, talking or taking selfies and tell you they are using the equipment when they are in fact not. One individual was in the locker room eating pizza and watching sports and I could not get to my locker.  Handles missing off some lockers with screws sticking out inside some lockers and dirty shower curtains. The staff has been informed but no changes or improvements have taken place. Their rates are great but I am considering paying a little more for better conditions and policy adherence.

Always come late at night. Night staff is very kind and personable. Malachi is helpful and i enjoy chatting with him when i come in. Tanning beds are always clean and the massage chairs are so comfortable. 20 bucks goes so far here!!!! Its the perfect place to start your fitness goals without dealing with the stereotype "gym" folk . No judge zone!!

This is my gym, so happy they built this in Huntsville. This gym is super clean and the staff is so kind , i swear every time i go in the gym they’re cleaning! You couldn’t possibly have a bad experience with this gym, the staff is great! Check them out

This is a very clean and well taken care of gym. Definitely good if you are just starting out and don't have strength-specific goals considering it's 90% cardio machines.
 
However if you're tempted to join because this is a cheap gym, you should know a couple things:
1. The black card membership is a complete scam. If you're doing it just so you can bring your buddy, you're both better off just paying 10 each. The "black card membership spa" is literally just some tanning beds and massage chairs a step up from what you'd find in a mall.
2. The charge to downgrade from a black card member to a regular member is $60, so three month's membership charge. 
3. If for any reason there's a month that you cannot pay your gym membership, the gym will refuse to freeze your account unless you're in the hospital or the military
4. PLANET FITNESS DOES NOT HANDLE THEIR OWN BILLING. They personally charged me twice this month and told me to call a collections agency to handle that. So in short I just have to accept that I've been charged twice this month. And I've heard other members complain about the same thing.

There are other gyms on University alone, think carefully before you join

I spend around 40% of my week here, and I never have an issue. Staff is always happy and accommodating.
