Allen Martin is so patient with his Parkinson's students on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. He is physiologically aware of their needs and takes them thru gross motor movements, balance skills, core strengthening, and hand-eye coordination. His program gets my husband moving, and increases his flexibility. There is a pleasant camraderie in the class so that everyone feels that they belong. Allen is very motivating, builds the individual's self confidence, and is the cause of many smiles.

I have worked out most of my adult life but have never had the drive or motivation before that I've experienced from training with Allen Martin at Rocket City Rocks Boxing Gym. We are about 2 months into training now and I can honestly say that I feel the best I have felt in a very long time! I am so thankful to Allen for pulling me out of my fitness rut and helping me look forward to my life once again every single morning when I wake up. I have more energy than I've had in a long time and I'm much stronger now. I am finally on my way back to getting in shape thanks to Allen and his knowledge, expertise and dedication to his job as a personal trainer and just as importantly, his desire to see me succeed in my fitness goals. I wish I could work out with Allen every single day because he keeps me motivated to do my best! I am planning to take my 15 year son in for workouts with Allen and I cannot wait to see the change I know he will make in his life as well.

I've been to a lot of boxing gyms but Rocket City Boxing left a bigger impact than any other. Coach Larry Bright is a great coach, and really cares about his facility and boxers. Not only do you get to learn the sweet science but he also injects discipline and morals into each lesson. I also lost over 70 pounds going 3 times a week for a year, and was in the best shape of my life following their courses. Highly recommend.

As a first-timer coming to join Rock's for a fun workout, I was pleasantly surprised at how well structured the gym was. The coaching staff LED the class, and expected nothing less than full participation from each individual there. There were people of all ages in attendance, and the class was structured so that everyone could join no matter the age or their goal. The regulars demonstrated the utmost respect for their coach and were there for one purpose - and that was to train. This gym is a must-try, and are also doing great things for our youth by teaching discipline, respect, and true teamwork.

This gym will flat out get you in shape. For me, the boxing workout is much more stimulating than a boring treadmill! I train one on one with Allen Martin, and he is fantastic. He is really building my boxing skills, and I started from square one. Allen works with a wide variety of clients young and old. He carefully plans out the workouts to improve my strength, conditioning, and skills. I love it! Coach Larry Bright has a great staff of trainers at Rocket City Gym!
