Planet Fitness is known for a lot of things. We’ve got tons of equipment, clean and spacious locker rooms, and the friendliest staff around. We’re also the home of the Judgement Free Zone®, which is a somewhat fancy way of saying we’re a laid-back environment, where you don’t need to worry about that hardcore attitude you might find other places.

Excellent selection of equipment. Laurel location is large and very clean. Love the 24/7 access that allows for a work out anytime. Wish there were more evening classes but the classes offered are great , small size, and excellent instructors! Can’t beat it for 10 dollars a month!!

Very inconsistent. I was a member for almost two years. I was not very regular and used it mainly for tanning through the winter months. I asked if I quit whether I could just pay to tan as needed, and was informed yes, but I would have to purchase a day pass for $20 each time. No problem, that works. This is what I have been doing, till tonight when the current staff says no you can't purchase tanning without being a black member. I'm sure if I go back in the morning they'd be happy to take my 20 and allow me to tan. Very inconsistent and inconvenient. Very annoyed.

There is enough cardio machines that there isn’t a wait to use the equipment also free weights area can fill up quickly

I rated this (Planet Fitness) 5/5 for three main reasons. First, the cleanliness of the gym overall that includes the machines, bathrooms and the floor. Second, the friendliness of their staff; they always try to make a quest visit unique and ease for members. They notify members about promotions and classes and always do their best to make things perfect. Third, the real 24/7; it does not matter if the rain is heavy or the sky is crazy, or it is a holiday or freezing weather, planet fitness at this location never closes.

My favorite way to spend lunch! Working out! The staff is great, the facility is clean, and everyone there is welcoming! So glad I joined!
