Planet Fitness is known for a lot of things. We’ve got tons of equipment, clean and spacious locker rooms, and the friendliest staff around. Some staff members, especially Gerald, wad either inattentive or just felt that my presence was an inconvenience. When he finally did acknowledge me, he shot me a look like I just ruined his whole day because he was in the middle of flirting with another member and I dare ask for a massage chair token at that moment. The other staff member didn't acknowledge that I was standing there at all. Besides SOME of the staff being rude and completely lacking any customer service skills, nearly all of the paper towel dispensers don't work. It's like night and day when you go to any other Planet Fitness in the state.

Must invest in Black Card only $21 a month unlimited massages worth it after a hot shower. Good staff and clean facility. Good location too on bus line ☺️

Really negative experience here on Saturday. Below expectation customer service, a lot of rigidity and frankly think they were wrong. I arrived at 6pm, gym closed at 7pm, with a friend trying to use my black card to get us in. They informed us that as my friend had a local PF membership they’d have to pay to get in vs. being my guest. I flagged we didn’t know, have gotten into other gyms without ever being stopped, and asked if there was any way around it. Zero empathy was shown, no flexibility, basically no. Then drove to Shelton and got right in. Later reached out to my home gym and they believed this policy shouldn’t restrict those from other planet fitness gyms. Laughed because that essentially means if you go to cardio express I can bring you to PF everytime I go but if you go to PF I can’t. Overall I won’t go back, even if alone, moreso as I don’t agree with the treatment.

Steph is horrible especially the short overweight black woman with glasses. Think she owns the place and decides whether she will let you in or not based on how she feels for the day. The place is dirty they won’t turn down the music sounds like it’s a disco club in there they say they’re not allowed to touch the volume. keep the scanner underneath the counter so they force you to give your phone or tag to them so they can have their disgusting hands all over your personal property and they refused to let you in if you ask otherwise. This place is horrible the people are horrible they away at all costs go to someplace clean like the Edge fittness nearby. That’s place closes early on Friday nights Saturday and Sundays at 7 PM customer service is the worst, the place is filthy Run from this place run for your life

Horrible experience... !!! Rude staff... The staff was good when I joined but not so good when I decided to cancel my wife's membership. I wanted to cancel the membership before September 1st( before the annual fee gets charged). When I asked them to cancel they wouldn't do it without the annual fee. The staff when I joined informed me that I could cancel any time before September 1st without annual fee. However now I was told there is a drafting period and I should've done it before August 23rd. They were so rude to me and said "you should have read the whole agreement". I told them that I only listened to what the staff said when I joined but the reply of this staff was shocking! "Anyway you signed it, so you can't do anything ".
