BE AWARE WITH THIS DEALERSHIP. Always have a second opinion from different mechanic shop. I was at this dealership for for a drive shaft recall from Ford and loud sound was coming underneath the vehicle.They diagnosed my 2015 Ford Transit with torque converter replacement almost $3,000. They charge me $150 for diagnostic fee. WATCH OUT the paperwork you sign and always have a copy right away.The next mechanic shop discovered that heat shield around exhaust is made from aluminum that's been teared off because it's a soft metal. Easy fix cost me $3

Plantation Ford is very clean and offers a great waiting area. José treated me with respect and let me know the details of my service. My vehicle got fixed while I watched from the viewing area, this was very cool. I would recommend this service department to anyone.

Jose at the dealership was amazing. He was very friendly and able to get me in to change my oil quickly even though there was a 2 hour wait. He identified a problem with my battery and replaced it as well. I was in and out in less than an hour!

I had a very uncomfortable and unfortunate exchange with a member of the service team. I arrived around 10am without an appointment. When he asked me how he could help he then walked away, somewhat uncomfortable because I lost my train of thought because like why ask me and walk away? Nonetheless, I pushed forward and explained what was going on with my car. From start to finish, his demeanor made me feel like a burden for even walking in the door. After I finishing explaining, he proceeded to tell my that there were very few diagnosticians on staff because it’s a Saturday (totally understandable) and they are “up to their eyeballs” and probably won’t be able to see me today. I explain my issue seems to be like a quick fix, could I leave my car and see if they could squeeze me in? He very condescendingly tells me he’s sure it is but they probably can’t see me, offers no solution as to how to proceed to get my car seen. This is now twice he’s told me they “probably cannot” see me today, and twice has not offered a solution, such as setting up an appointment for later this week. So I ask if I can make an appointment, he says for Monday?!? (with an equally confused face). I’m just as confused because he hasn’t, with certainty, told me there’s no way my car can be seen today, just probably can’t. So I say no, for today. He’s again tells me there’s just probably no way to be seen. So at this point, I’m beginning to lose patience. I haven’t been told I’m so sorry ma’am there just isn’t any availability today, how about we set up an appointment for some time this week? Just a “probably can’t” over and over. So I say, listen you’ve now said you “probably can’t” see me three times, if you’ve known from the very beginning of this conversation you couldn’t see me or fit me in why didn’t you just say that? He says “if that’s what you want to hear ma’am, NO we cannot see you.” If that’s what I want to hear? Cmon. If you encounter a problem, offer a solution, plain and simple. I would have been totally satisfied if from the very beginning he said we are extremely busy but how about we get you set up with an appointment for sometime this week? I left in a storm, admittedly unprofessional on my part, mumbling under my breath that he could have saved us the trouble from the beginning if he was just honest. Please don’t make the people who buy your cars regret their decision because you make them feel like a burden for seeking your services. I will never return to this dealership.

First time a this dealership. Great overall experience. Second time not so good. Spent 1300 plus on fuel pump repair and ended up with check engine light they said could not possibly be their fault. No compromise no manager involved just we could not have caused it. Thanks for nothing Jose and I will not deal with Plantation ford again!!!! Letting a customer leave unhappy is breaking a golden rule. Lousy experience. Will not go back Michael
