When showing me the items they would purchase for $6.80 they didn't really show me what items they were, just lifted the tub and said these shoes (never worn Polo Ralph Lauren) and this sweater. The "sweater" was actually an NFL Jersey with the original price tags on it. I declined and looked over my items and the $160 price tag that was on the Jersey was now GONE!!! 
 I took pictures of the Jersey before bringing it in to post on a swap if I didn't get a good offer. So I showed them the picture of the missing tag and they denied removing it. 
This entire experience was pathetic. I will never shop or sell in a Platos Closet again.

Know what you mean I brought a pair of Vera Wangs short boots, worn once for about a 1/2 hour to break them in I was told the heels was way too high and they looked used. Then I went in there today and there were a lot of shoes way higher heels then mine and they were a lot of shoes that were dirty I mean really dirty!!!! And a pair of boots that barely had any tread left on the soles and a pair of Nikes that the sole was coming off I Felt very offended. They Probably give their friends money for junk. And refuse to buy regular peoples stuff and insult us by telling us our stuff isn’t good enough for them.

Took in a whole bunch of cute barely used summer clothing and got told they were too worn to take in and not the style they're looking for. Meanwhile everything on the rack looked way more worn in. If you're going to sell, don't even bother coming here

There were 6 associates all behind the counter as I stood waiting for awhile since none of them bothered to help me. And then they offered me 2 dollars for each of the American Eagle jeans, romper, and tops I took in. All of which were less than a year old. If you are going to sell, just take your stuff to the Plato's in Lawrence!
