We scheduled a POD for our move and was told their large container would hold a 3 bedroom house. The POD arrived the same day my dad died! Needless to say we were unable to pack for several days. Once we started we realized there was no way all our stuff would fit in 1 POD and if we rented a 2nd POD it would end up costing the same or more than a full service moving company so on the 5th day I called to have the container picked up. They couldn't pick it up for 5 more days. I asked about a partial refund and was told that after 3 days there is no refund. I explained about about the loss of dad and was told I would get 50% refund. We paid a total of $501.00. $130 of that was the delivery charge so I understand not getting that charge back. The remaining charges were $239.99 monthly rental charge, $49.95 content protection (the contents never left our home) plus tax. All we will get back is $120 plus tax. I understand rules but when I reserved this container the agent never mentioned a 48 hour cancellation in order to get a full refund. The rental agreement is 12 pages of small print. Due to circumstances beyond our control I would think the company could show a little more empathy and give a little latitude to their hard and fast 48 hour rule. I will never use this company again!

We rented a pod recently to store goods from our fire damaged home.  On delivery, we wanted the pod placed in such a way to be able to use the driveway.  The driver complained that he would have to go somewhere else to be able to turn around the pod to place it where we wanted and mentioned we could just 'walk a bit further' to use the pod where he wanted it to be placed.  Really bad attitude.  To make matters worse, the same driver picked up the pod just a day ago and broke a branch off a tree in front of our house, but had plenty of space to maneuver around it.  I would NEVER recommend doing business with a company that hires drivers that treat their customers this way and destroy property on top of it.

Real nasty attitude. Other drivers and even the young lady that got out paper work had major problems with him. Asked him if you wouldn't mind unloading and loading and just  blew us off. Even the receptionist. Asked him for his name and told me forklift driver. Hope pods does something about this

The gentleman that delivered the pod was so extremely polite and considerate, took time to explain and advise on placement of the pod. i would definitely use this company again.
