A small privately owned family company doing business in Southern California since 1968.

Seventeen family owned Polly's Pies Restaurants and thirteen Kentucky Fried Chicken® franchises in Southern California.
The two owners...
Are the Sheldrake brothers, Don & Eddie, who grew up in Los Angeles. Both went to Washington High School in L.A. Don went to Harbor Community College and Fresno State and Eddie used crib notes to get through UCLA.
We are indeed grateful to our many wonderful team members, to all our loyal guests, and to all the people we've counted on for their expertise, friendship and talent. Without their help over the years, we could not have succeeded in this challenging and stimulating business.

I'd give it 5 stars easy, but the manager (older fella with a pot belly) cost a star for his lack of understanding or caring further to entertain the idea of my questions. The two younger employees who worked the closing shift were awesome. Both of them we great and I would hire them because they're ability to both multitask, help other customers and take the time to help me exceed my expectations. I myself prefer to not consume dairy or meat products. So I ordered the veggie patty burger which was phenomenal... however, it comes with Swiss cheese which I had them remove (no problem) my question to follow wasn't complicated... "Do you offer other non dairy cheese alternatives?" I use to love cheese, like everyone else but no longer choose to consume it. No, unfortunately and understandable. Final question, "Are the products ordered through corporate only? Or is it possible for to order from third parties and if so, would it be possible to consider ordering non dairy cheese?" I exclaimed that if just one alternative to cheese was an option, I would be a regular because it opens up many other options that I like and I'm sure others would to. I informed them that I have tried many brands and the best plant based all natural vegan cheese that I have discovered is "Chao Slices" by Field Roast. Even the avid cheese eater would agree its delicious. Anyway, to conclude... the manager said no, it's not possible to consider your request. Then went back to counting the cash drawer receipts or whatever job or lack thereof he would rather do than give his customers attention or explore an idea that would bring in more customers who are accustom to paying more to remain healthy.

Awesome hosts and waiters. Very polite and loving and courteous. They are full of life. I love the atmosphere I feel right at home. The food was nice and hot and didn't have to wait to long. But whatever you do, I beg you please don't try their pieshakes.😱 It's to die for. I tried the pecan pie shake it is very refreshing and delicious.

We had a large group of 13. Waiter was nice but not nearly attentive enough. Some food was delivered burnt and was removed from the bill. Manager was called in but did very little to resolve complaints. Went to pay at cashier and had to wait as she was trying to gather an order from kitchen. While waiting to pay, a line 6 to 8 deep developed. Some were throwing their money on the counter and leaving.

My husband and I shared the ABC omelette with the potato pancakes and a muffin. The food was very good. Each item tasted like the ingredients were fresh. The service was ok. More home style. Slower paced but very friendly. I would have given 5 stars but I didn't have time to lounge and my items came at a slower pace than at a busier breakfast spot. It's perfect if you are looking to lounge and have time to hangout.

I brought 2 of my girls (young ladies) for breakfast at Pollys. We all enjoyed our food and visit. I had Macadamia pancakes and they were so good can't wait to come back. And your waitress Jamie Walton is a wonderful waitress. Thank you. Beverly Barnes
