Pop-Hop Books & Print is a bookshop & print studio in the Highland Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Story

Pop-Hop Books & Print is a creative retail space merging a bookstore and print studio at 5002 York Blvd in the Highland Park neighborhood of Northeast Los Angeles.

As a bookshop, we specialize in art editions, literature, children's books, zines, and books as unique art objects. We also feature handpicked gently used books in a variety of subjects including theory, philosophy, film, theatre, graphic literature, sci-fi and cookbooks; as well as new literature, art and design magazines, and publications by small local presses.

As a print studio, we give members of the community the opportunity to take things a step further by offering workshops such as screen printing and book making. The multipurpose design of the space opens up to serve as a forum for talks, readings, screenings, exhibitions and other creative programs and performances.

As a community-driven space, we welcome your involvement. We are always accepting donations and looking to buy books. We also encourage you to pitch an idea for a class or event. If you have a skill, share it with us. With Pop-Hop Books & Print, we hope to create an environment that is inviting and approachable, dynamic and stimulating, a place that fosters inspiration and action in equal measure.
