I showed up to this place about 5 minutes til 10 because the site states they're open til 11 the staff acted like they were scared even though I had told them that I just wanted something quick to go shortly after this beast of a woman comes from the back starts berating me. As I assumed dining in was still open people inside and outside doors were open and there was food that they easily could have rung me up and let me be on my way instead I was yelled at by the manager telling me it's after 10 the drive through is open I politely responded that there website states you're open til 11 none the less I left without arguing and went across the street who was happy to serve me. After meeting the manager I can see why the staff looked terrified they must really need there job they seemed nice and possibly would have grabbed some of the chicken and sold it to me. After working in full service restaurants for over 20yrs this was the most deplorable act of management I have ever seen. By the way it was 9:58 when I walked out the door within that time they could have put 3 tenders in a box. I don't know if the manager was going to take all that chicken home or try serving it tomorrow.

Honestly they deserve no stars because their customer service is terrible. I went there one day to order the $5 box and it took them over 30min to get my food. Meanwhile, other people went inside the store and came back with their order. So I asked since I'm waiting for some "fresh chicken" can I have a complimentary drink for waiting and not driving away. They denied and offered free water, so I brought to their attention that I have been waiting a long time, and the manager said "well you could come on the inside". But I was like what is the difference between coming inside and waiting outside since there is no line outside (the place just opened an hour ago). Long story short I got home and my chicken was cold and they poured out my red beans and rice (you can see where the food was at one level and the beans was on the outside of the container). So I called and reported that they messed my food up, but they continue to hang up on me and block my call (I did not get loud with them), so I drove back up there asked for a refund. But they made it difficult claiming it's going to take forever the refund process, something is wrong with their system, blah blah. So finally the manager came back out again and did give me a refund with an attitude and continued to agree with me about it didn't take that long for the food, but I have the receipt of the time of the transaction plus the time I got there. Just don't waste your money on this mediocre place with terrible customer service.

The last time I went to this Popeye's I ordered my girlfriend and me 2 of the 2 piece chicken meals and was given chicken strips. I took the order back and the employee and manager both argued and told me I was lying and ordered the tenders. 2 stars because the red beans and rice give me life.

They don't listen, order was wrong. My chicken was over cooked like chewing rubber. I ordered 2 piece wing meal and got a wing and a breast! Its like they are day dreaming, lack of focus and friendliness! Bathroom needed to be swept.
