I absolutely loved this campground and the adorable town that sits just outside the entrance. You can walk to everything, and the locals are welcoming and extremely kind. I could stay here easily for a few months and never grow tired of the views, or the town. To reach the beaches, it’s merely a short drive around the bay, and well with it too. Some of the nicest/ prettiest rocks I have were found here. We will positively return and hopefully stay much longer next time.

This RV park isn't terrible. The younger man working in the office is very good at customer service and tries to accommodate guests without breaking the rules. The older woman can come across as being quite harsh and unkind. A few campsites are beautiful with shade trees and are spaced well. However, many of the sites are crammed together with no landscaping or vegetation. The bathrooms are locked with a password for guests, so I appreciate that. Unfortunately, instead of the bathrooms being cleaned early in the morning, like 5am as other RV park bathrooms are, these are closed for cleaning from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., so if guests don't shower before 7:30 a.m., there's no telling when a bathroom shower will be available.

Friendly staff and clean campground. It is right by the river and has beautiful views. We went for the weekend of the fourth. I was so happy to have a quiet campground where we could spend some family time together. They had wifi and the restrooms were clean. I really liked that the bathrooms were single units, so it included a toilet, sink, and shower all in one. Made it much easier with my children. It was breezy by the water, so bring a jacket or two! They provide waste bags for your pets which was an additional plus. We also had running water in a nearby spigot for me to wash my dishes after cooking. Thanks!

Dusty, dusty, dusty. You might as well be at burning man with all of the dust and LED lights at night. Don't waste your time if you're tent camping either because you'll be sleeping on gravel. Camping here is for RVers who like camping in gravel parking lots and have their own CLEAN bathroom. However this campground is in old Town Florence and is a delight if you want to take a romantic walk to dinner, catch a nightcap at another restaurant and stroll back to the RV. Just make sure to get a reservation for dinner!

This is the third time i come back here. The campground is situated near the old town; so much easy to get to great restaurants and more. You will find plentiful blackberry bushes and a good view of the Siuslaw river and bridge as you troll along the bank.
