What an great campground! A beautiful quiet place with great trails. Wildlife abounds. We were even visited by a black bear cub. Momma bear was surely close by, but i didn't see her. I made the rookie mistake of leaving butter out. Truly the most memorable part was the hosts. Jim and Denise are the warmest most welcoming people we've met on our long camping trip up the Pacific coast. My family felt like we were leaving friends behind when we left.

The overall campground is very nice. The spaces are far apart and private for the most part. It is close to kayaking lakes and hiking trails. We stayed for 3 nights in a travel trailer. One problem was that the bathrooms were never cleaned and the toilets were quite dirty. One of the bathrooms in the B section had an issue and was shut down so the A section had to take up the slack. If concessionaires run the campground, they should clean the bathrooms. Also it would be nice if camp hosts in all campgrounds, would drive around at 10:00 pm to be sure that all the campers are quiet.

Lots of walk in sites with plenty of space. We have a 15x15 tent and have a hard time finding spots to accommodate. You will have no problems here. There are 3 loops to choose from as well as a 4th for groups. Camp hosts were amazing and so nice. We will definitely be back and the only thing missing are showers. Other than that flushing toilets and water are available.

We got super lucky and got a spot! Maintained well we stayed in Loop B site 12. One downside is my friend took her dog for a walk on the trial next to the spot and got stung by wasps 11 times.. We did tell the camp host who called the forest service who took care of the hive within a few hours!

Not too bad of a campground, the downfall is they don't have showers and no sewer dump. You pay $29/night for a site with electric which is a bit pricy. They do have flush toilets, however the ones in B loop weren't working so they had porta potties out (which hadn't been serviced since 8/20). We'd probably come back, more older people at this campground, no rowdy individuals so that was a plus.
