Good fast food options.  Their salads used to be my favorites but the recent menu change has not been a positive one for me.  Great Italian beef and Maxwell polish sandwich.  Chocolate cake is a rich treat. This past month more often than not orders I place in the drive through are incorrect. I ordered Italian beef with mozzarella and got no mozzarella. Same with sweet peppers. When you up charge me for the cheese and peppers I expect them to be on the sandwich. Something is wrong with the system. I also order salad with no bread and butter is still put in the bag. What for? Disappointed in order accuracy of late.

Food was great Italian beef, chopped salad (and if u do not want something on the  salad like onions all u have to do is tell them when ordering - made fresh to order.  The chocolate cake is always nice to share with dining companion, it is a nice size piece of cake.  Don't forget u can take home some Italian beef to have on hand at home too.  Starting in a one pound package of beef with a container of yummy juice on the side.  The Italian bread is an extra charge.  So worth it though.  Enjoy!

The food is always good and service is alright. Had a problem this specific visit with my online order . Paid for it online, got charged for it and when I went to pick it up- they couldn't find it. Manager made my order and got me out quickly. Other than that my food was hot and delicious ! Thanks for great service

Fantastic place to get italian beef and their signature chocolate cake shake. The atmosphere is great, really retro, with all the authentic antique and vintage signs decorating the walls. Just make sure you know what you want to order when you get to the counter however, as they can be a pretty busy place.

Portillo's has great Chicago style hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches, along with a wide selection of other food. The dining room is filled with Chicago kitsch, and is overall usually pretty clean and pleasant. For a fast food place, service can be pretty slow, unfortunately. The chocolate cake is great, and the chocolate cake shake is amazing.
