While briefly residing in this country town, I had the negative interaction of two librarians acting extremely unprofessional.  To explain, the head librarian made false accusations regarding my use of library services.  Honestly, I let it go but was truly startled as it was complete nonsense and bazaar.  In weeks to follow, an overweight, short haired librarian, also highly unprofessional, touched on this matter with me, once more.  She said my library privileges may be revoked due to my shutting down a computer.  Really?  And it's also stated in fine print on a pillar she says.  Wow.  Sounded like entire discrimination to me.  Fortunately, I made this matter aware with the town's mayor who I befriended months prior.  Truly, however, I wish I knew about Connecticut Human Rights and Equal Opportunity, as I surely would've had a case.  The entire matter appeared to be made up.  I do not recommend this country town as it's filled with biases and many uneducated people.  Clearly, even the educated aren't morally sound.  Very frightening.  Glad I live in my pretty, astute town now.  They'd never put up with that nonsense.  Hick towns are never a good a choice, personally.  Choose educated, always.

Nice atmosphere, very good collections, terrific people, and an excellent website. It's a member of Library Connection, a consortium of 30 cooperating libraries, so that finding almost anything you need is really easy by online access.Go to their website.

My son and I are in this library often. We love it. There are so many programs offered for children and adults. And if you ever can not find what you're looking for just ask and they will order it from another library for you.
